Holiday Home Tour in historic Georgetown

The 2009 Holiday Home Tour in historic Georgetown celebrated the
dedication of a community to its heritage.  Georgetown enjoys an
Old Town Overlay historic district which boasts a cohesive grouping
of vernacular, high and popular style residences.  The evolution of
architectural forms and development patterns are chronicled within
three existing National Register Historic Districts and along every
downtown thoroughfare.

The annual event invites you to explore the homes of businessmen and families. Savor the history and appreciate the efforts of dedicated individuals who take on the task to 'preserve the past for future generations'.

The 2009 Tour homes included ...

The R. F. Young House at 1243 Main Street

The Hutton-Martin House at 1256 Main Street

The HA Edens House at 1603 Main Street

The Frank and Mellie Love House at 1415 Ash Street

The AS Fischer House at 1703 Elm Street
